HSHS St. Mary's Decatur Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team in Decatur, IL. The role involves preparing and operating MRI equipment, positioning patients, and delivering quality images for interpretation.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates at MRI Technologist I or II levels will be considered; sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered. Education requirements include an associate degree or equivalent, with ARRT or ARMRIT certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in allied health, radiologic science, or related program.
• 1 year radiology tech experience preferred.
• Certification eligibility: RT (R) in Radiography or RT (MR); ARMRIT or ARRT MR preferred within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for MRI exams and ensure comfort.
• Prepare and operate MRI equipment according to physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality images are produced for interpretation.

Pay Range:$32.58 - $48.87A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.HSHS St. Mary's Decatur Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team.The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders, accurately positioning patients, preparing and operating MRI equipment, and ensuring quality images are obtained for interpretation.New graduates are encouraged to apply.
