Job summary

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team. The role requires preparing and operating MRI equipment and capturing high-quality images for diagnostic use, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Open to MRI Tech I/II levels with pay ranges aligned to experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply; a sign-on bonus is offered and compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic/ allied health required.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT eligibility with MR preference.
• ARRT RT(R) radiography certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Position patients accurately and prepare/ operate MRI equipment.
• Ensure image quality for interpretation and support physicians' diagnoses.

Under the direction of the radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while following physician orders, accurately positioning patients, preparing and operating MRI equipment, and ensuring quality images are obtained for interpretation.New graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates at the MRI Technologist I and MRI Technologist II levels will be considered.
