Job summary

The MRI Technologist at Wexner Medical Center performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for diagnostic purposes within the MR Division across University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager, the technologist provides patient education and conducts quality assurance activities to maintain high imaging standards.

Scope of Position

The MR Division encompasses MR equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations. The MR Division offers MR imaging services to inpatient, outpatient and ER patient populations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
