Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging exams across multiple imaging locations, including University Hospital and Morehouse Plaza Imaging. You will educate patients and participate in quality assessment under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

This full-time role involves 40 hours per week with varying shifts, based at Morehouse Medical Plaza – Pavilion.

Job Title: MRI Technologist Department: University Hospital | Morehouse Plaza Imaging

Scope of Position

The MR Division encompasses MR equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital, and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations. The MR Division offers MR imaging services to inpatient, outpatient and ER patient populations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
