Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams under the supervision of a Radiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role covers neonatal to geriatric patients and requires adherence to all imaging standards.

Education must be AMA approved or JRCERT accredited; ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS are required at hire, with 6 months MRI experience preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• Work Experience: No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration required; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to image anatomy and physiology under radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care across all ages (neonatal to geriatric) during MRI exams.
• Follow prescribed standards and safety protocols for all MRI procedures.
