Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform scans and ensure patient safety across multiple campuses in Vadnais Heights, Woodbury, and Lakeville. You will be responsible for screening, positioning, performing exams, and reviewing images to maintain quality and accuracy.

The role includes adherence to protocols, documentation and charging, infection control, and collaboration with CDI and staff.

Qualifications

• Review MRI screening forms to ensure MRI safety of patient.
• Position patients and perform exams as requested by physicians.
• Perform MRI following established procedures and protocols for patient care, safety, and quality.
• Review images to ensure image quality and communicate with CDI to ensure timely and accurate exam dictations.
• Document and charge MRI exams appropriately.
• Performs quality control checks to assure MRI equipment meets standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies.
• Cleans and maintains MRI equipment, work area, and department to ensure infection control and cleanliness.
• Facilitate good communication with co-workers and throughout the organization.
• Maintains supplies and orders as necessary.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
