Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment under Radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis. You will access and update electronic medical records, input orders, and educate patients on imaging procedures to minimize anxiety.

You will maintain patient confidentiality, follow ARRT standards, monitor during procedures, and participate in quality assurance and continuing education to sustain competency.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school (or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training).
• ARRT certification (R) and BLS; Montana licensure within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Access and update patient records in the Hospital EMR system.
• Input physician orders to patient records; maintain patient confidentiality.
• Explain imaging and safety procedures to patients before imaging to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic views as directed by Radiologist.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety from radiation and magnetic field exposure.
• Perform quality assurance activities and participate in radiology quality reviews.
• Assist with supply ordering and document charges according to budget.
• Float to other departments as needed; may be on-call.
