Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations with patient safety and high-quality imaging under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include safety protocol execution, parameter selection with radiologists, patient prep, anatomy positioning, contrast administration, and adherence to departmental standards. The role requires ARRT(MR)/ARMRIT or ARRT(R) with MRI experience, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT(R) with at least one year MRI experience.
• BLS certification required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRI safety protocols and maintain magnet safety for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Select scanning parameters in coordination with radiologists to ensure optimal results.
• Identify patients and prepare them for exams, performing imaging per department standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper positioning.
• Administer contrast and medications as directed by supervising clinicians.
• Maintain competency across clinical and technical functions, following policies and documentation procedures.
