Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations with patient safety and high-quality imaging under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include safety protocol execution, parameter selection with radiologists, patient prep, anatomy positioning, contrast administration, and adherence to departmental standards. The role requires ARRT(MR)/ARMRIT or ARRT(R) with MRI experience, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT(R) with at least one year MRI experience.
• BLS certification required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Executing MRI safety protocols and maintaining magnet safety for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Selecting appropriate scanning parameters in coordination with radiologists to ensure optimal results.
• Accurately identifying patients, preparing them for exams, and performing imaging according to department standards.
• Demonstrating knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper anatomical positioning.
• Administering contrast and medications as directed by supervising clinicians.
• Maintaining competency across all clinical and technical functions, adhering to policies and documentation procedures.

Qualifications Include

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT(R) with at least one year of MRI experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and navigate busy clinical environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patient transport and equipment management.
