ChristianaCare's Imaging Department is recruiting a Full-Time MRI Technologist to work at Newark Hospital during the day shift. There is a $7,5000.00 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

The MRI Technologist will perform MRI procedures, enter data in RIS/HIS/Intergy, and ensure high-quality images are sent to PACS while maintaining patient safety and excellent customer service.

Formación

• ARRT MRI registry completion required (or in progress with grace period).
• 2-year associate degree in Radiology.
• 2 years’ MR technologist experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens products preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MRI procedures per departmental protocols.
• Performs data entry in RIS, HIS and Intergy systems and enters patient information accurately.
• Sends high-quality images to PACS with complete patient history.
• Ensures safety and quality of patient imaging and provides excellent patient care.
• Performs QC and digitizes films as needed.
• Maintains professional communication with patients and health‑care team.

As a MRI Technologist:

• PerformsMRIproceduresas defined by departmental protocols


• Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data.


• Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system


• Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented


• Performs QC and is able to digitize films


• Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care team


• Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules andpractices;reportsto supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.


• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to [neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients], including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of ARRT registry required. (Successful completion of the MRI Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist who is recruited and non-certified in MRI will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam).


• Completion of a 2 year associates degree program in Radiology.


• 2 years’ experience as an MRITechnologist preferred


• Experience with Siemens products preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $38.98 - $62.38

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
