Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies and ensure high-quality imaging. You will operate the MRI scanner, prepare the scan room, and position patients and equipment while maintaining clear communication with patients during procedures.

The ideal candidate has ARRT MR certification within 2 years of hire and at least 1 year of radiology technologist experience. AMA Radiologic Technology or MRI certificate programs are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification within 2 years from date of hire.
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year experience as MRI Technologist preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• Reg Technologist (R) required.
• Basic Life Support preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepare scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Position patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintain communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

Job description

American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
