Job summary

Benefis Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time role in Great Falls, MT. The incumbent will perform MRI/CT procedures, assess patient safety, and ensure image quality while educating patients and coordinating with the care team.

Requirements include 1 year imaging experience, ARRT/MRI certification preferred, current BCLS, and MT license. A BS in Radiologic Technology is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• MRI/CT experience preferred.
• Registered with ARRT; Montana license required.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient safety assessment before and during MRI/CT procedures.
• Prepare the room and patient for imaging.
• Perform imaging procedures and evaluate exam quality.
• Manage images and educate patients and families as needed.
• Maintain compliance with licensing boards and Benefis policies.

The only thing missing is you!** Responsible for performing a patient safety assessment prior to and during the MRI /CT procedure, performing an age-specific patient assessment, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, evaluates the quality of exam and performs image management. Provides education and communicates with the patient, family and other healthcare workers. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, promotes the philosophy and ensures the quality and continuity of patient care. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
