Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist for the night shift to support MRI imaging workflows and patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, educate patients about MRI procedures, and ensure safety while obtaining high-quality images.

The role requires knowledge of MRI procedures and scanners, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment. ARRT or ARMRIT certification and BLS are expected, with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Job Description:

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.

• Associate [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]
