• Completed an accredited radiography or MRI education program.
• Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
• CT Certified a plus
• CPR / BLS Certification.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, think and plan ahead, show initiative, possess excellent communication skills and work effectively on a team.

Responsibilities :

• Prepares and operates MRI equipment per physician instructions. Will provide coverage for Fonar-Upright MRI and GE mobile MRI.
• Screens patients / family members for MR safety prior to procedure.
• Administers IVs and contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Understands and uses the PACS system.
• Maintains related information in patient EMR charts with proper coding.
• Adheres to all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
• Works with our in-house health care team consisting of Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, and APPs to deliver excellent patient care.
• Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
• Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
