Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking an MRI Technologist to interview and screen patients prior to MRI procedures and to perform MRI studies following radiologist-defined protocols.

Responsibilities include initiating studies, transferring images, documenting patient history, and completing studies in EPIC/EMR and PACS systems, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MRI experience.
• Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred.
• Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program.
• Current ARRT license (or ARMRIT/CAMRT) and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• An MRI Technologist interviews and screens patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure safety and contraindications.
• Performs MRI procedures following radiologists' protocols.
• Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in EPIC/EMR and PACS system.

Experience Required

1+ years MRI experience;

Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary

Education Requirements

Graduate of AMA Approved RT Program.

License/Certification Requirements

Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); or ARMRIT, or CAMRT

Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
