Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Tech to join our float team. You will perform high-quality MRI scans across multiple sites, gaining experience with a variety of scanners while collaborating with diverse care teams. This is a full-time role with shifts from 6:30am–10:30pm and weekend rotations; a part-time option is also available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must have training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The pay range for this position is $30.00-$49.06 based on direct and relevant experience.

There is a $5,000 relocation or sign on bonus for this role! RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Tech to join our float team. As a Float MRI Technologist, you'll perform high-quality MRI scans across multiple sites, gaining experience with a variety of MRI scanners while partnering with diverse care teams. Thrive in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility, communication, and teamwork drive exceptional patient care every day.This position is fulltime working a variety of shifts between the hours of 6:30am-10:30pm, includes weekend rotation. Part-time 30-39 hours per week, (benefit eligible) is also available. Willing to train!

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

• 1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
• 2. Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
• 3. Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
• 4. Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
• 5. Follows physicians’ orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
• 6. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
• 7. Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
• 8. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) MRI Department Support

• 1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
• 2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
• 3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

• 1. High School diploma, or equivalent
• 2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
• 3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need
• 4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• 5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• 6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently
• 7. Certification in imaging specialty

• 1. Bilingual
