Posting Details

• Pay Range: $37.46-$57.80 hourly (DOE) + $10/hr float differential
• Benefits Eligible
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Shift: Variable, with differentials for evenings, nights, weekends

Our System Float Pool offers assignments across various Denver-area hospitals, including:

• Good Samaritan Medical Center – Lafayette
• Lutheran Medical Center – Wheat Ridge
• Platte Valley Medical Center – Brighton
• Saint Joseph Hospital – Denver

Responsibilities

1. Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images.
2. Understand MRI principles and physics thoroughly.
3. Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols.
4. Receive and prepare patients, explain procedures, and administer IV contrast when needed.
5. Perform routine exams independently.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring safety and quality care.
7. Participate in quality initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution or relevant experience/training.
• Current ARRT (R)(MR) or NMTCB registration.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to interact well with people of all ages.
• Preferred: At least one year of hospital MRI experience.

Physical Requirements

Requires visual acuity, verbal communication, manual dexterity, ability to lift/move heavy items, assist with patient mobility, and stand for extended periods.

Location & Schedule

Locations include Good Samaritan Hospital, Lutheran Hospital, Peaks Regional Office, Platte Valley Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital in Broomfield, Colorado. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly range: $28.15 - $43.42, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being.
