Job summary

HCT Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their Dynamic Team in Texas. You will perform MRI procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under a Radiologist's supervision, following established protocols and safety standards.

Shifts include weekend options with flexible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour arrangements; a $10k sign-on bonus is available for external candidates. Opportunities for growth, relocation assistance, and cross-training across modalities are highlighted by the employer.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist role requires performing MRI procedures per exam protocol.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families and explain procedures.
• Adherence to safety, infection-control, radiation policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol.
• Maintains imaging quality and follows standards.
• Uses AIDET communication to identify needs and reassure patients.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient, and adjusts equipment for exposure factors.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality standards.
• Maintains documentation for requisitions, patient history and consent forms.
• Ensures safety screening and policies are followed before department entry.
