Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist across multiple locations. The role focuses on patient comfort and safety while capturing high-quality diagnostic images using MRI equipment.

Responsibilities include pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic technique, and training new technologists. Applicants should have ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, a state license, CPR, and a valid driver’s license to support daily facility operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Registered Technologists by ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State license as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screen for contraindications.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Order supplies and clean the unit; assist with transport prep daily.
• Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists and team members.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
