Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Burnsville, AL is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will engage with patients to explain procedures, position them appropriately, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the exam.

The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT certification, state licensure, CPR, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is a casual/PRN on-site position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registration current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have training and experience to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Imaging specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients before MRI exams and verify identifiers.
• Explain procedures and position patients for optimal imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
• Adjust MRI parameters and ensure safety and accuracy in RIS.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment sanitation.
• Support department with protocol updates and inventory management.
