Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to perform routine MRI exams and contribute to a welcoming patient experience. This role supports ongoing quality and safety initiatives and offers opportunities to work with the latest MRI technology.

You will educate patients, ensure their comfort, and maintain high imaging standards while collaborating with radiology staff. PRN shifts vary to meet patient needs and department workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent ARRT pathway.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT or MR credentials in good standing.
• MR Certification (R.T.(MR)) required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages per protocol.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Maintain high equipment uptime and report malfunctions.
• Process billing via RIS and oversee basic data entry.
• Instruct and mentor new hires and radiology students.
• Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
