Qualifications

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or hospital certificate program completed.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology or permit with licensure within six months of hire.
• ARRT-R Certification required within six months of employment.
• NYS Injection Certification required within six months of employment if hired before Sept 13, 2021.
• BLS Certification required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educates patients about procedures and maintains a supportive environment.
• Ensures timely and proper service during unsupervised shifts.
• Provides on-call coverage for the MRI Section of Radiology.
• Documents exams and procedures in the Radiant Care Connect EMR.
• Cleans, restocks and prepares rooms daily and maintains high cleanliness standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service to patients and families.
