Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Laurinburg, NC facility in a part-time role. You will ensure patient safety, pre-screen for contraindications, and help produce high quality MR studies while coordinating with radiologists.

Responsibilities include preparing the unit, ordering supplies, assisting with transport, and training new technologists or patient coordinators as needed. Active ARRT-MR registry and state license are required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registry.
• State license required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.
• Associate degree preferred.
• ARRT MR registry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assists in preparing for transport daily.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
