Nebraska Health Imaging in Omaha, NE is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our experienced outpatient imaging team. The role emphasizes quality imaging, clinical excellence, and compassionate patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate MRI and ancillary equipment.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure the appropriate examination is performed.
• Position patients and select appropriate pulse sequences and imaging parameters.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Provide education and reassurance to patients throughout the examination.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and digital image records.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
