Job summary

Corewell Health East is seeking an MRI Technologist Flex B who will float across designated Corewell Health East facilities including Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe and Farmington Hills. This role reports to the Flex Office at Southfield Center and performs diagnostic MR exams per established policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining high-quality imaging, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring timely patient throughput under supervision. Part-time schedule with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires associate’s degree or equivalent in radiologic technology (JRCERT accredited).
• Minimum 2 years of experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• MRI certifications required by hire (ARMRIT or ARRT or ARDMS depending on specialty).
• BLS certification required by hire or by ARC.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.
• Float within assigned hospitals Corewell Health East (Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe and Farmington Hills).
• Report to Corewell Health East Flex Office located at Corewell Health Southfield Center.

Job description

Scope of Work

The MRI Technologist Flex B agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East (Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe and Farmington Hills). This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Southfield Center. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree or equivalent Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
