Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 36-hour/week on-site role at our Shrewsbury St campus. The technologist will support high-quality imaging services, ensure patient safety, and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, administering contrast, data entry, and coordinating with radiologists. Prior MRI experience and ARRT/ARRT, CPR certifications are required or accepted at some locations. Physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• Certifications required: MRI/ARRT/CPR.
• Interpersonal skills essential for patient interaction.
• ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform patients about exams and ensure understanding.
• Position patients accurately and maintain comfort during exams.
• Perform scans per center protocol and administer intravenous contrast.
• Document data, provide films/CDs, and forward to Radiologist.
