Job summary

Shields Health Care Group seeks an MRI Technologist for Springfield, MA. This part-time role requires weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday, 6am–6:30pm) and entails providing high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will explain procedures, position patients, monitor safety, and support radiologists with contrast and data management. The ideal candidate has MRI scanning experience, ARRT/CPR certifications, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure patient comfort

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inform patients about exam procedures and obtain consent.
• Position patients accurately and ensure comfort during the scan.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor during the procedure.
• Administer intravenous contrast when indicated.
• Record exam data and forward films/CD to Radiologist.
• Assist clerical staff as needed and keep rooms stocked.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms after use.
