Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to join the imaging team. You will prepare exam rooms, position patients, and perform high-quality MRI exams while assuring safety and comfort for diverse patients.

You will educate patients, administer IV contrast when needed, and document findings in EMR/PACS. Strong attention to safety and teamwork is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for MRI procedures.
• Educate patients and families about MRI procedures and safety.
• Position patients and adjust coils for high-quality imaging.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast per safety guidelines.
• Perform daily QC checks and document results.
• Follow protocols for patient ID, consent, and time-out procedures.
• Document in EMR and PACS; maintain patient records.
• Conduct MRI exams per physician orders and safety standards.
• Screen patients for contraindications and safety compliance.
• Operate MRI equipment and related injectors with care.
• Other duties as assigned.
