Job summary

The MRI Technologist at Jupiter Medical Center performs MRI and MRA procedures across multiple body regions, leveraging extensive knowledge of anatomy to produce high-quality images for interpretation.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification (R, MR) or ARMRIT, Florida license if applicable, and BLS. Proficiency with PACS, image manipulation, and continuous quality improvement are expected to support optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Two years of college experience. ARRT MRI certification and/or ARMRIT preferred.
• Florida license required if ARRT MRI certification only, BLS is required.
• Proficient computer skills and good communication are essential.
• Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVI post processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI/MRA procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head, thorax, breast and extremities.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy to produce high-quality images for interpretation.
• Use PACS and image manipulation tools to enhance images.
• Support continuous quality improvement and perform other duties as assigned.
