Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
• Existing employees must obtain advanced MRI certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner and produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Perform patient screening, verify identification, and follow safety checklist.
• Manage patient queue, select images from worklist, and archive studies.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in a clean, organized condition.
• Respond efficiently to emergencies and adapt to changing patient needs.

Skills

ARRT (MR) certification

CPR certification (American Heart Association)

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Ability to solve problems efficiently

Education

Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program

Valid New Jersey Department of Professional Regulation license
