01 The Valley Hospital in Paramus is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist. You will operate an MRI scanner to produce high-quality diagnostic images and manage patient care following safety protocols. The position requires certification in MRI and offers a competitive pay range of $47.80 – $59.75 per hour.
The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, experience in the field, and must hold a valid New Jersey license. Comprehensive benefits are available including medical and tuition assistance.
Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the MRI Technologist prepares for and operates a MRI Scanner following specific physician orders. Produces detailed computer generated scans of patients for diagnostic and interventional information. Assists patients onto scanner after reviewing the MRI safety checklist, verifies patient identification prior to scan, selects patient from worklist, ensures exam is archived on the PACS and completed properly in the RIS. Maintains facilities in proper order and keeps abreast of all new MRI procedures.
Four 10‑hr shifts 1pm‑11:30pm rotating schedule every 3rd weekend, 1 holiday and on‑call a must.
Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.
