Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre is seeking a qualified professional to perform imaging procedures at a technical level. Responsibilities include patient preparation, performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and ensuring safety in the imaging environment.

The role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist and offers healthcare benefits from day one. New graduates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• One of the required certifications: ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT‑R or primary ARRT‑MR or NMTCB or ARMRIT.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Magnetic Resonance imaging process and safety.
• Provides protection to patients and personnel during procedures.
• Prepares and positions patients for procedures, explains exams.
• Performs imaging procedures following protocols set by Radiologist.
• Enters data into imaging systems and processes images.
• Performs quality control tests of equipment and manages supplies.
