Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARRT certification or National Certified MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders.
• Utilize MRI equipment and adjust imaging factors to optimize images for patient needs.
• Consider patient age-related needs and safety to produce high-quality results.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
