Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire, or Temporary License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire, or National Certified MRI Technologist within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing MRI equipment.
• Consider individual patient needs to produce optimal images.
• Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors and techniques for quality results.
• Deliver safe, patient‑focused imaging care in a clinical environment.
