Job summary

Kaleida Health’s MRI department in Buffalo General Medical Center is looking for an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and collaborate with the care team. Candidates should have AS Radiologic Technology or ARRT certification, with ARRT MR (and NYS IV contrast) prerequisites and a 3-year window to complete MR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology or ARRT Certification required.
• ARRT MR certification within 3 years of hire/transfer required.
• NYS Certification for IV contrast within 90 days of hire/transfer or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images for patient care.
• Collaborates with MRI team and Lead to improve quality and performance initiatives.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high quality MRI images and ensure safety.
