Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our outpatient team in Allen, TX. The role performs MRI procedures per protocol, ensuring patient preparation, safety, and high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation.

The position requires MRI experience, patient education, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Two plus years' MRI experience (preferred).
• Ability to educate patients on procedures.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, problem solver & team player.
• Navigate multiple screens and browsers quickly & accurately.
• Excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to exceed company and customer expectations.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patient to ascertain medical history and explain the procedure to obtain the best image.
• Review patient charts for missed information and assess implants, allergies, etc.
• Obtain prior films and perform high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Provide care to the patient before/during/after exam and monitor condition changes.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report quality concerns or failures.
• Interact with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager.
