Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time, evening shift. The role includes performing MRI examinations, maintaining safety, and managing equipment and patient communication.

Qualified candidates will have an MRI certificate or radiologic tech degree, CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT certification, and BLS. A 20K sign-on bonus is available for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required.
• Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.
• Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
• Explain examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.
