Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the MRI - Cancer Center team. Under general supervision, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters, and display images for physician review.

You may assist in developing protocols, perform quality control on equipment, and ensure compliance with ARMRIT/ARRT guidelines. Education requires a high school diploma; CPR certification; MRI certification preferred with MR board

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED. Must maintain hours of continued education.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) required.
• Two years of Radiography experience recommended but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging studies using an MRI device, including preparing patients, positioning, and setting imaging parameters.
• Perform computer processing and display images for interpretation.
• Assist in developing protocols for patient studies and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
