Qualifications

• A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or completion of radiologic technology program.
• NYS license or permit with licensure within six months of hire.
• ARRT-R certification within six months of employment.
• NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.
• BLS certification within six months of employment.
• Official transcript or registrar letter for program completion accepted on graduation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures while ensuring patient care and safety.
• Educate patients about procedures and maintain a supportive environment.
• Maintain documentation of exams in the EMR (Radiant Care Connect) and ensure proper records.
• Provide on-call coverage for the MRI Section of Radiology.
• Prepare and restock rooms daily; manage equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other modalities for patient flow; monitor patient status.

Education

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or completion of a Radiologic Technology hospital certificate program

NYS license in Radiologic Technology or permit and licensure within six months

ARRT‑R Certification within 6 months

NYS Injection Certification within 6 months

BLS Certification within 6 months
