Qualifications

Responsibilities

1. Perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities.
2. Support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.
3. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation.
4. Support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.
5. Apply knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.
6. Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders.
7. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of procedures performed.
8. Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations.
9. Perform accurate image archival.
10. Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media.
11. Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient.

Salary Range

$49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

Qualifications

• Licenses: A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required.
• OR you need: A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required.
• BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required.
• Graduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required.
• Venipuncture certificate - preferred.
• AA or BS - preferred.
• At least 1 year of MRI experience - preferred.
• Siemens experience - preferred.
• Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies.
• Ability to identify contraindications for exams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and independent decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes).
• Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
