Job summary

UNC Health Nash invites an MRI Technologist to join our team. You will perform diagnostic MRI scans under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, ensuring film quality, patient care, safety, and education for staff and students.

You will use RIS, PACS, and HIS to access information, verify orders, and document procedures, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and supporting departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT registration with MRI credentialing.
• 1 year MRI experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Proficient with RIS/PACS/HIS and radiology workflow.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MRI scans under Radiologist direction.
• Ensures correct patient data, safety, and high-quality images.
• Operates RIS, PACS, and HIS systems for orders and data transmission.
• Maintains equipment and documents procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and ensures patient safety.
