Job summary

UNC Health Nash is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic scans under Radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and accurate documentation.

Candidates must have ARRT MRI credential, ARRT registration, and at least 1 year MRI experience; new grads are welcome. This is a full-time, onsite role with 40 hours/week at Nash UNC Health Care, Nash County.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT registration with MRI credentialing.
• 1 year MRI experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic MRI scans under Radiologist direction and maintains film quality.
• Ensures patient safety, verifies demographics, and documents procedures in RIS.
• Operates RIS, PACS, and HIS to access data and transmit images.
• Maintains equipment and clean, safe work environment; reports issues to supervisor.
• Assists with education for staff and students as needed.
