Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology. You will prepare patients and equipment, independently conduct studies, and ensure high-quality images for diagnostic and treatment purposes.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment for adult and pediatric patients, cross-training if registered, and participating in call rotation, holiday shifts, and weekend coverage as required, while maintaining safety and quality control

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
• Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, Intravenous Therapy certifications.
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform MRI scans accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Assist with quality control and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to meet diagnostic needs.
