Job summary

Beebe Healthcare seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures in a standards-driven Radiology department in a coastal Delaware community.

Responsibilities include reviewing requests, preparing patients, administering contrast, and ensuring image quality while coordinating with scheduling and other departments. Requires Associate degree and up to 1 year MRI experience; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• One year MRI experience preferred.
• Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation.
• Ability to lift patients up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reviews consultation requests and consults with Radiologist or physician.
• Greet patients and confirm identification; explain procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media; perform MRI procedures per protocols.
• Maintain daily activity logs and ensure proper supplies storage.
• Coordinate scheduling with other departments for patient flow.
