Beebe Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures per departmental protocols and safety standards. The role involves reviewing requests, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring accurate patient identification and explanations of exam procedures.

Qualifications

• One year MRI experience preferred.
• Must complete Point of Care Training as part of Department Orientation.
• Ability to lift patients up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
• Review consultation requests and coordinate with Radiologist or referring physician as needed.
• Explain examination procedures to patients and families.
• Prepare and administer contrast media.
• Maintain daily activity logs and ensure proper storage and ordering of supplies.
• Conduct safety inspections and QA tests on MRI equipment per ACR guidelines.
• Identify problems and communicate with supervisor; monitor patient during scans.
• Support scheduling and non-routine exam decisions to optimize patient flow.
