Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking a motivated MRI technologist to join the radiology department. You will perform MRI procedures, adhere to department protocols, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications include an approved MRI education program with registry eligibility, ARRT registry, and state licensure where applicable.BLS certification is required, with a 36-month ARRT registry timeline.

Qualifications

• Clinical imaging experience in Diagnostic Imaging is required.
• Completion of an approved MRI education program with registry eligibility.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine (or appropriate state licensure).
• MRI Registry with ARRT required within 36 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures per ACR and ARRT standards and department protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of MRI equipment, EPIC and PACS; participate in QA/QC activities.
• Record patient history and manage contrast policy per MRI safety guidelines.
