Job summary

The Elliot in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced MRI technologist to join our radiology department. You will perform MRI procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT registry eligibility or certification, completion of an approved MRI education program, and the ability to obtain BLS during employment. Commitment to safety, quality, and patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Completion of an approved MRI education program with registry eligible.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine and/or state licensure.
• MRI Registry with ARRT required within 36 months of employment.
• Ability to obtain BLS during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance procedures based on the ACR and ARRT standards.
• Adheres to preparation, positioning, coil selection and exam sequences.
• Participates in quality control and quality assurance using the APIE model.
• Maintains knowledge of MRI equipment, EPIC and PACS.
• Prepares and/or administers contrast media per policy.
• Recognizes emergencies, initiates code procedures, and administers CPR as needed.
• Records patient symptom history on requisition.
