Baptist Beaches Imaging Department in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time daytime schedule (Mon-Thu, 7:00am–5:30pm). You will perform MRI exams, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and adherence to education requirements and regulatory standards. ARMRIT/ARRT credentials and BLS are required or targeted within 18 months.

Qualifications

• MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• ARMRIT/ARRT MR credentials required or in process within 18 months.
• BLS certification required.

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm.

This MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI exams on patients, ensuring high-quality diagnostic procedures and patient safety. In addition to performing MRI exams on patients, this MRI Technologist will prepare patients for MRI exams and explain the procedure to them. The MRI Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. This MRI Technologist will operate the MRI equipment.

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements
• Taking every precaution to protect oneself, the patient, and others from potential harm relating to the magnetic field
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements

• MRI Technologist Experience Preferred
• Imaging Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Experience in Radiology Department Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required Or
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or
• Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required Or
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• If CRT or ARRT (R) must obtain ARRT (MRI) registry within 18 months.

This position will be located at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL.
