Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MR imaging with attention to safety and quality. This per diem role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, current BCLS, and at least two years of MRI experience in a radiology setting.

Responsibilities include accurate image acquisition, patient data handling, and proper documentation in the system. Works within established policies, procedures, and insurance billing processes.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
• Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging accurately and in accordance with procedures and policies.
• Access and process patient information, ensure correct images and proper documentation.
• Bill appropriately and document exams in the department system.
• Support clinical team members when not actively imaging.
