Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MR imaging with attention to safety and quality. This per diem role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, current BCLS, and at least two years of MRI experience in a radiology setting.
Responsibilities include accurate image acquisition, patient data handling, and proper documentation in the system. Works within established policies, procedures, and insurance billing processes.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processing images, ensuring correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, recording information related to exams into the department computer system. Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities.
Education, Experience, Training
Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $43.50 to $60.22. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
